The three fold cycle of creation
Vedic knowledge teaches us that life unfolds in cycles of creation, sustenance, and dissolution, each an inseparable part of existence. Peace is a noble path, yet to ignore the inherent presence of conflict is to misunderstand life’s nature. From the great to the personal, the forces of creation and destruction weave through every moment; some rise, others fall, joy and sorrow intertwine. Just as there’s always a nation or people engaged in battle—whether on front pages or hidden in distant lands—conflict is woven into life’s rhythm. War and peace are both threads in the fabric of this reality, each contributing to the world’s ever-evolving balance.
We will examine three cycles of time: The shorter cycle of Mars’ transit (2 months through a sign), The biannual cycle of eclipses (6 months), The greater cycle of Saturn’s conjunction with the lunar nodes in a sign (57 years with 119 years interval).
Mars in Cancer
Omens of war:
If a swarm should follow an army marching out for fight, such an army would suffer defeat in battle, but if birds should fly before the army, there would be success in battle. Varaha Mihira
Mars’s ingress into Cancer began on October 20th and will finalize on June 6th 2025.
Mars is the planet that rules over war, boundaries, police forces, litigation, fighting, anger, martial arts. It is fiery in nature and does not do well in Cancer the natural fourth sign of Zodiac representing, our emotional heart and the happiness and comfort of Home. In this sign Mars is debilitated, the Avastha or status of Mars in Cancer is defined as “sleeping and burdened.” Meaning it lacks awareness. A debilitated planet is also called fallen. To understand this we should think that all the best qualitites of Mars are not able to come through. Meaning instead of clear boundaries one may repress their anger and act with passive aggressiveness instead. In the military front we should see ‘bad moves’ or poorly thought military actions. Increased military action will be seen on the days leading up to December 7th 2024, January 21st 2025, April 2nd 2025. As per the study of Mar’s movements.
Varaha Mihira, a renowned Indian astrologer, from the 6th century CE, was a pioneering scholar whose works like the Brihat Samhita have profoundly shaped the fields of Vedic astrology and astronomy. In this ancient text He describes the retrogression in Cancer of Mars as an inauspicious time. “There would be much suffering on earth. There would also be a scarcity of water and wars in the land.”
Mars in Cancer, Parivartana Yogas and Yama Yoga
Parivartana Yoga;
The Moon is the fastest-moving planet in the sky. Whenever a planet transits through the Moon’s sign—namely, Cancer—it will engage in an exchange called Parivartana, which occurs when two planets transit each other’s signs. For example, throughout Mars’ transit in Cancer, a Parivartana will take place each time the Moon transits through Scorpio and Aries, as the Moon moves through a Mars sign while Mars transits the Moon’s sign. Parivartanas bring significant turns of events and present opportunities for destiny to shift. This will be felt especially if you have strong Scorpio and Aries placements. While there are many intricate rules governing Parivartana Yogas, for the purposes of Mundane astrology and our presentation, this ‘turn of events’ aspect is the most relevant.
Yama Yoga;
Mars in cancer will have an aspect on Saturn in Aquarius until the April 14th 2025. Forming the ominous Yama Yoga. Yama is the God of death, He rides on a crow and weighs our actions at the time of passing good and bad. This Yoga has a strenght and Shakti to its nature giving the power to achieve things. It is a powerful combination which can be found in Kamala Harris’s chart. And it also indicates a moment in time where Yama the God of death is strongly present in the world. With this combination of a fallen Mars it’s very important to be mindful of accidents, cuts and things breaking. IE drive carefully and avoid unnecessary risks.
To call for protection listen to this Narasimha Mantra:
Saturn-Rahu Conjunction, Sidereal Pisces April 14th 2025
The conjunction of Saturn and Rahu in the sky is called Storm Yoga. Both are airy in nature, and when they meet, they signify a period of volatility and change. Approximately every 5-6 years, Saturn conjuncts either Rahu or Ketu. The table above shows past Saturn-node conjunctions in Pisces. This cycle in sidereal Pisces recurs three times with an average 57-year interval, followed by a 119-year interval. This upcoming conjunction will be the last in Pisces for another 119 years.
The Nodes are created by the movement of the Moon crossing the elliptical. They are shadows of the Moon ie mathematical points. In the olden days these places in the sky were called “knot of the Moon” by Ancient astronomer. Le Gentil de La Galaisière, Travel in the seas of India ordered by the King of France on the occasion of the passage of Venus over the disk of the Sun.1779-1781.“In regards of Rahu: It is what we call the place of ascending knot of the Moon Rahu is the name of the dragon or serpent that wishes to devour the Moon and Sun, according to the Indians. It is at its origin the head and tale of the dragon which can be found in ancient astronomy books. “
Major trends: Saturn and the nodes in Pisces
Notice the recurring themes around space exploration, death of a ruler and earth events in the East. We have already witnessed some of these play out, with assassination attempts, almost accidents for and the death of the Iranian President. Meanwhile there has been significant advancements made in space exploration.
1820: In the United States, the Missouri Compromise was passed, admitting Missouri as a slave state and Maine as a free state, maintaining the balance of power between North and South. In Europe, the Congress of Troppau was held, where Austria, Prussia, and Russia agreed to suppress liberal and national movements in Europe. In South America, many countries were in the midst of wars of independence, with significant events occurring in Mexico, Peru, and Argentina.
1968: In the United States, the year was marked by social and political upheaval, including the assassinations of Martin Luther King Jr. and Robert F. Kennedy, and the ongoing Vietnam War. In Europe, the Prague Spring occurred in Czechoslovakia, a period of political liberalization and reform that was eventually crushed by Soviet military intervention. Globally, the Apollo 8 mission became the first manned spacecraft to orbit the Moon, and the Civil Rights Act of 1968 was signed into law in the United States, prohibiting discrimination in housing based on race, religion, or national origin.
Kamala Harris and Presidential fate, Chart Study
One of the key features I want you to notice is the similarity of the chart of Kamala Harris with the current transits. For this reason I am leaning towards seeing her come to power.
Mars in Cancer
Jupiter in Taurus
Saturn in Aquarius
Sun in Libra (During the election)
key:
Mars in Cancer Parivartana with Moon
Saturn Aquarius with Mars aspect
Venus – Sun Parivartana
Jupiter will transit over her Lagna Starting in the Spring
The current position in her chart of Mars aspecting Saturn over her Arudha lagna calls to apply caution and protection around accidents. Especially since there is such a strong theme of “danger to the ruler” at the moment. During the first week of Mars’ transit through Cancer, Madame K. Harris experienced a close call when a drunk driver, traveling in the wrong lane, headed directly toward her motorcade. Extra caution regarding accidents is advised, particularly through January, as the Rashi Dasha of her 8th house is active. This heightened risk will ease once Jupiter transits her Lagna in the spring.
Solar Eclipse and 6 planetary conjunctions + 1 Parivartana Jupiter
A conflictual two weeks, March 29th 2025 – April 14th 2025
Two weeks prior to the Rahu-Saturn conjunction, we’ll witness a solar eclipse followed by a 6 + 1 planetary combination—an inauspicious alignment indicating that matters will reach a peak after months of war and unrest. A significant loss on the Ukrainian front is possible, demanding a Jupiterian solution to avert a full-scale world conflict. This may manifest as a negotiated agreement between Europe and the East. Regardless, this period will mark a point of culmination, with tensions gradually settling by spring and summer, leading to relative stability for the next few years, until spring 2029. Did you know that eclipses are said to curse a Nakshatra or Lunar Mansion for a year following their occurrence? It’s also crucial to note that Saturn will cross over the eclipse point just days after its conjunction with Rahu. keep an even mind and hold on to your perspective. While March and April will be tumultuous, things will settle down afterward, especially as we approach summer 2025. Remember, the nature of this spring will be marked by the Storm Yoga—but storms are just passing.
May 14 Jupiter will transit to the sign of Gemini. May 18 the nodes will shift on over to Aquarius-Leo axis. June 6th 2025 Mars will end its journey through sidereal Cancer.
