The Soul Behind Sidereal Rising
My name is Aurélie, which means golden. Pronounced O-Ray-li. I was born in Switzerland and raised in France. My love of traveling was instilled at a young age by my beloved mother whom never missed an opportunity to show us the World.
Most of my early years were spent at the stables, working and caring for horses.
I have been a student of Vedic Astrology for the past 5 years and a full time astrologer for over 3 years now. I love teaching young women about the cycles of the Moon and the ancient science of Omens.
Beliefs and Philosophy
In my tradition, we honor each person as a soul on a journey. Everyone has something to work on in life, and sometimes we all need a little nudge of Grace. Vedic astrology, or Jyotisha, teaches us that harmony comes from acceptance and peace, and balance is always possible.
My love for Jyotisha
Like so many others, my heart and life were profoundly transformed after taking initiation into my spiritual lineage. This journey ultimately led me to Jyotisha. Although I had been drawn to the mystical life from a very young age, I knew little about astrology when I first signed up for an introductory course. I remember pacing in my living room, reciting the names of the zodiac. The more I studied, the more I discovered a place of harmony within myself—combining my counseling skills, mathematics, intuition, and creativity.
I have been consulting with clients for the past three years and have completed several courses within my tradition, including the Science of Light by Freedom Cole and the Parāśara Jyotiṣa Course.
Studies and Interests
Mundane astrology and world predictions are among my favorite areas of study. I hold a Master’s in Fine Arts from the Art Center of Design in Pasadena, a testament to my creative journey. My travels on spiritual retreats and pilgrimages have been deeply enriching, adding layers of insight and perspective to my practice. In my free moments, I find joy in listening to music, walking by the lake, and visiting my local bakery. Above all, I am a disciple, and to my clients, I strive to be a simple conduit for guidance and truth.
