“Three things cannot be long hidden: the sun, the moon, and the truth.” — Buddha |
Amāvāsyā is the dark day of the Moon. Once a month the Sun *meets the Moon in the sky leading to total obscuration of the Moon, on this dark Moon day we are called to seat in our silence, practice our meditation and worship the ancestors. Amāvāsyā means that which dwells together. The Sun is the King while the Moon is the Queen.
The dark day of the Moon is not an auspicious day to begin something new. If you are my client or have been following around my channel for some time you will know I repeat this every month. Take for example the two astronauts that journeyed to the international space station. Their space rocket by Boeing took off right on June 5th aka Amāvāsyā… Journeys beginning on this day often swallow time light a black hole. Overall it will be a few unstable days. Whatever situations are coming up be patient and try to wait until September 5th -6th to make a decision.
